We will learn to paint with acrylics, and choose a subject to paint on canvas. Ages 6 and up.

About the event
Children will learn the basic of painting with acrylics. We will review proper painting practices using brushes, i.e. making proper brush strokes, how to clean your brush, what different shaped brushed are used for, etc. We will then learn to mix colors from primary colors, and review the color wheel. Once we've gone over the basics, the students will create a painting on canvas, with the subject of their choosing. Bring a reference along if they would like to use it!
